Hi student,
There are various aviation courses in the flying schools and you can choose any one, if you have done simple BBA.
The steps to become or make someone a pilot are as follows:-
- Get College Education in any discipline i.e. any course - Usually aerospace engineering, aeronautical mechanical engineering, physics or computer science provide a good educational base for pilots.
- Gain Flying Hours - Go to a pilot training school and get at-least 250 hours of flight experience.
- Earn a Pilot's License after 18 years of age - The applicant has to clear one written examination and a physical examination to ensure they have good vision and hearing as well as no physical impairments that might lead to crashes.
- Complete Additional Tests and Training - Collect all airworthiness and medical certificates that are asked by Airlines.
- Work as a Pilot - Generally, pilots hired at major airlines have around 4,000 hours of experience flying commercial planes but they may hire you as a co-pilot giving an opportunity to learn more. You may start your career flying charter planes or helicopters to gain experience.
- Get advanced in the field - After 5 to 15 years of experience larger airline companies may approach you may work on senor ranks.
