I forgot my hsc seat number and I haven't my marksheet how can I get it
Hello Aspirant,
If your HSC seat number is missing, and you do not have your marksheet, you can try the following:
- Contact your School/College: The school/college retains records of old students' seat numbers and also keep documents of student's mark sheets, so there is a good chance your school will be able to help you. Make sure to provide your full name, year of passing along with other relevant details.
- Visit Board Website: Some state boards provide an option to retrieve HSC Seat Number using your name, school code or registration number, so it is always advised to check your respective board website (for example Maharashtra HSC, Tamil Nadu HSC, etc.).
- Visit the Education Board office: If nothing seems to work out for you, you can also visit the state education board office with ID proof and school details and apply for your education board seat number or duplicate marksheet.
- Ask one of your batchmates: If any of your batchmates have their seat number, it will likely be similar to yours and they may display a pattern.
