Hi Karthik!

Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering, Vizianagaram, is actually a pretty good college for Mechanical, CSC and IT Departments.

The Infrastructure is also good in this college, with huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, gym, etc,. They also conduct a lot of College Fest regularly. The campus life is also very good.

The faculty here are educated and experienced. The placement is also nice with many IT Companies coming for recruitment like Infosys,CTS, TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc,. The average salary is Rs. 3.4 lakhs/year.

On the whole, it is a fun college as well as good in academic criteria. So, don't worry about your friends kidding. If you have the passion to study, you can study well from anywhere and everywhere.

All the very best!
