I gave IITmains exam in 2018.Can I attempt it again in 2020 and then jee advance in 2020?

According to the official brochure of JEE Main, candidates should have completed their 12th standard qualifying examination at least 2 years before. So if you are aiming to attempt JEE Main in 2020, then you should have passed the 12th standard exam in 2018. If you meet this criterion, then you will be able to apply for the exam of JEE Main. A total of 3 attempts is given to candidates for JEE Main.
However, for JEE Advanced there is a criterion that you will be able to attempt it only twice in consecutive years. Therefore, if you had attempted JEE Advanced in 2018, then can attempt it again only in 2019. If you have not attempted JEE Advanced even once, then you are eligible for it in the year 2020.
