i got 100 marks in jee advanced and i belongs to ews category also i got 98.22 percentile in jee mains i m interested in maths some between in chemistry and lower in physics now what is the best decision ican do this time after advanced result
Hi,
With 98.22 percentile in JEE Main and around 100 marks in JEE Advanced, you may get a decent EWS rank, but the exact rank will depend on the final result, category-wise performance, and cut-offs. Based on recent trends, 100 marks is around the qualifying and lower-to-mid IIT admission range for EWS candidates.
Since you are more interested in Mathematics and Chemistry and less in Physics, some good options after the Advanced result can be:
-
IITs with Mathematics & Computing (if your rank permits)
-
BS/MS in Mathematics at IITs or IISERs
-
Engineering Physics or Chemical Engineering only if you are comfortable with Physics
NITs through JEE Main counselling, especially for Mathematics-related branches
B.Stat/B.Math at ISI if interested in higher mathematics and statistics
Integrated MSc programmes in Mathematics or related fields
Do not choose a branch only because it is in an IIT. Try to prioritize your interest in Mathematics while filling choices during JoSAA counselling.
All the best.
