I got 108 marks in jee mains 2019 90.57 %ile and my sc rank is 4453 I am from West Bengal Can you give the list of 5 best nits i can get?

Hello Pankaj,
Admission to various NITs is done through All India category rank(or Unreserved rank for general category). Every NIT has seats divided among state quota i.e for students of that state and Other state, for students of other states.
So for other state quota (for eg. If you are from Rajathan and NIT is in different state) then, based on previous year cut off you can get following five IITs for Civil/Electrical Engineering and other less popular branches:

• NIT Hamirpur
• NIT Patna
• NIT Puducherry
• NIT Srinagar
• NIT Jamshedpur

And all other NITs except the top 10.

And for home state quota( NITs in your state)
You can get most sought out branches like Computer Science/Mechanical/Civil Enineering easily in any NIT situated in your state.
Hope I resolved your query, feel free to ask further questions.

Hi pankaj,
I regret to inform you that with such a low score you cannot get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nits or iiits.
As nits or iiits are one of the most sought colleges in india so they have high cutoffs to get admission into.

Though if you have some homestate quota from northeast nits then you can get admissions into it.
But on  all this you cannot get into your preferred branch if you have some.

Either you take part in any other councelling or you can take a year drop preparing harder for next year jee.

Hope it helps !!!

Hello pankaj
