I got 120000 rank in general category in jee main and 80 per in +2 will i get nit college
Hey Nandha,
With this rank it is quite difficult to get a seat in any nit. Some of the students will manage to get seat with this rank also through their home state quota but it is quite difficult to get a seat in your state's nit even with home state quota.
So I would suggest you to try in private colleges. You may also try in some deemed university like lnmiit jaipur.
Last year cutoff for lnmiit was:
CCE(communication and computer engineering) : 96
CSE :116
ECE :74
ME :74

120000 rank is not sufficient to get admission in nits .
As you know that nits are the top colleges in India after iits and some other colleges.
And there are limited number of seats in nits ; you need to secure rank under 20-30 thousand ( varies according to college and branch ) for a good nit.
Hope you got what i am saying.
So either you Should go with state government or private colleges ( YMCA ; Delhi regional ; dcrust ; cu ; thapar etc).
Or you should take drop ; if you only want wants nit.

If I consider previous year’s record, then the chances to get admission in any central government colleges are almost impossible .You can not get NITs or IIITs with this reach buggy you may get good state government colleges
