I got 12.47% in paper 2 and my category is sc so can l get again one chance to give exam

Hi Narendra,

As beginning this year, JEE examination authority has shifted from CBSE to NTA, under the new guidelines and as you must be knowing, the Mains examination are going to occur in two sessions, one in January for which you hace got your result and another in April. Therefore, you do not have to worry as you can sit for the April session again. Please note that the application forms for the April session will be published on 8th February, so kindly look out for the same.

And more importantly, what you need to remember is that even though you can sit for both the sessions, your final result will be taken out of the best of two. That is, if you score more in the April session, NTA will count that as your final score and not the result obtained in January.

Narendra since unfortunately you have very less percentile in your first attempt of JEE mains which you have written in the the January session based upon that you won't be able to take the good college . Yeah definitely the JEE mains paper 2 will also be conducted in the April month and after that only the cuttoff for the various categories will going to be declare regarding that below the link is given through which you can able to check that.

The expected rank for your percentile is calculated based on the formula:
Rank=(100- NTA percentile)*145386/100.
Your expected rank may be 1,27,692(approximately).
This rank may vary after the official results which will be released in the month of April.
You may write the second JEE mains exam which will be conducted in the month of April.Please try to get the good marks atleast in second exam.

Yes ofcourse you can appear in 2nd phase jee mains paper2 examination  by registering for 2nd phase examination.There is no cuttoff percentile score require for writing 2nd phase jee mains paper 2 examination.Everyone can give both attempt.Best from two will be considered for merit list .
