See you can get into nit only through your St rank and mostly yhr high chances of you getting seat in nit is the nit which is in your state since you will get the advantage of being domicile of the your state

See you will most probably get in last rounds of the counseling and branches like metallurgy, biotechnology, engineering physics etc ece is slightly is tough...
