I GOT 164 IN JEE ADVANCED OPEN CATEGORY. WILL I GET INTO ENG.PHYSICS OF IIT CHENNAI

Your expected rank must be between 3000-4000. As per last year cut offs of IIT Chennai, you can not get Engineering physics but yes in the same college you can try for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering And Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. But if you do not want to compromise in the branch, you can try for IIT Ropar. Also I will suggest you to look for a good location with a average branch if you're getting an IIT.

hey bro, you should have a look on jee advanced 2016 marks vs ranks analysis....

this year we can expect the same trend as this years paper was comparatively a little difficult than that in 2016.....

Your rank will be around 3.8k-4k.Rank is expected considering toughness level of paper and previous year trends.You seems less chance of getting seat in IIT CHENNAI with engg.physics.For that you need rank under 1.8k.But you can get this stream in other IITs.And even better than this stream.
