Hello,
You haven't mentioned if you have scored overall 49% aggregate marks in class 12th or in Mathematics, Physics and any optional subject. To be eligible to get admission in Manipal Institute of Technology you must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and any optional subject in 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. SO if you have minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and any optional subject taken together then you are eligible to participate in counselling. If not you cannot participate even if you secure a decent rank. If you cannot appear for improvement examination then you have to seek admission in any other college.
With the given score your rank is expected to be around 5000. The actual rank may vary. Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in Manipal University, Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim in Computer Science Engineering. The cut off was 10635 and 29216 respectively. You have chances of getting seat in CSE in the above mentioned campuses only if you have 50% in Maths, Physics and optional subject taken together.
