I got 17072rank on jee mains can I get nit

Yes definitely with a CRL of 17072, you can secure a seat in either of circuital or core branches in most of the NITs. My suggestion would be, if you have a nice and old NIT in your home state, dont go anywhere else and target that Institute in JOSAA.You have greater chances of securing a seat in either of ECE, Electrical,Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering at your home state NIT.

In case you dont have an old and established NIT in your home state, choose the one NIT where you get a branch of your choice.

Further if you dont have any such branch of your choice my suggestion would be take one of the following options whichever is at vicinity to you home state.

NIT Allahabad Chemical Production

NIT Surathkal/Warangal Metallurgical Civil

NIT Trichy Metallurgical Production

NIT Jamshedpur Electrical Mechanical

NIT Rourkela Civil Chemical Metallurgical

NIT Nagpur Chemical Metallurgical

NIT Jalandhar Mechanical Electrical

First of all you must mention your category that from which category you have secured 17072 rank in JEE mains.
Now assuming that you have secured this much rank in JEE mains from your general category then congratulations you have secured very well rank in JEE mains and definitely you can get some of the good and top NITs.
Even if you belong from other state you can easily get many nits, with good branches.
