I got 21868 rank in main . Am I get seat in ECE or CSE in top ten nit colleges in OBC NCL ? Is same syllabus in iit & nit? Any deviation ?

For MNIT the closing rank for CSE for home state is 1669 and for other state is  1167 and for ECE is 2810  2654 respectively

For CSE it is 8439 for home state 4882 for otheer state

and for ECE it is 13365 for home state and 8022 for other state

In 1st year of B.Tech stdents of all the branches are taught same syllbus. Syllabus does not differ but the way a subject is delivered to the students with the required insight beyond those printed textbooks is what matters. Core courses are more or less the same. Electives may be more in iits when compared to other colleges due to faculty crunch and lack of facilities in other colleges. In iits, the practical content in the courses is more when compared to other colleges. So at the end I don’t think there’s much difference in the syllabus. Regarding the syllabus the,The syllabus of NIT and IIT is more or less same but the difference is of faculty members.

the syllabus is quite similar in IITs and NITs, but IIT syllabu is more diverse and comprise of many other topics which are only taught in IIT. Your rank is pretty appropriate for CSE branch in NIT. Even if not CSE, you are surely going to get ECE in NITS
