you can get into north eastern NITs (EEE,MECH,CHE,MSME,etc branches). But the chances are less.

It is very difficult to get NITs with this rank. Sorry to say but this rank is not enough for NITs. Even you have very less chance that you will get some North East NITs.
Don't lose hope, Go for Counselling. Let's see what happens.
