Hii Dillep. You can surely get a seat in chemical Engineering in a NIT, as there are 31 NITs in total in India. The question is about getting a seat in an old NIT. Firstly, if your home state NIT is old one, try for it. Otherwise you can try for NIT Hamirpur and all other NITs below that, your rank falls in their range.
