I got 37k rank and 95percent in ipe should I get any seat in general??
You can get admissions in engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh for 37k rank. But you don't get seated in top colleges like JNTU, AU, etc.
You can predict your colleges by going through the link below: https://www.careers360.com/ap-eamcet-college-predictor
You can go through the below link to know the previous years cutoff: https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/ap-eamcet-cutoff
You can choose the college accordingly.
Hope this will help you. Good luck.
Hello
The Eamcet seat allotment is done based your rank.Getting a seat n general or any other reservation depends on your rank, the options(college and branch) you have chosen at the time of option entry.
If your rank can fetch you a seat in the college and the branch in your list of options from top to bottom, then you will get a seat in general category if the seats are available in that college and branch.Otherwise it checks whether your rank can fetch you a rank in reservation if the seats are available in that reservation category in that college and branch.
This process continues till the end of your list but it will stop at a particualr college and branch in your list where you can get a seat.
If the bottom of the option entry form is reached, then you may result in a loss of seat. The most common reason might be that you have not chosen the colleges and branches in which you might get a seat. You can know the colleges in which you can geta seat using the college predictor tool(https://www.careers360.com/college-predictors/ap-eamcet-college-predictor/order-summary?rn=2bf03ee5-4a57-4ef5-b210-15d2942f8139) or using previous years data.
Good luck!!
