I got 38.33 marks and 484 score branch ece ,i want to go for mtech.. kindly suggest me colleges to apply for,which have good placements?

Dear Aspirant,

Long answer short, best option available for you is IIT Bombay, CTARA M.Tech. You have fill up the form and if your score is above 400, you have good chances of getting a call from there. You will have to complete the assignment provided by the professor and appear for the test and interview. If cleared you will get TATA fellowship in IIT Bombay, and get into M.Tech Program.

Now coming onto to at score of 484, it will not be possible to get into IITs/IISc and NITs. Most of them closes around score of 550. However there are few colleges that you can get into that still has decent placement opportunities after M.Tech is over other private colleges.

Some of the are as follows,

1. COEP Pune: I have heard students getting admission into this college even when they are not GATE qualified. There is M.Tech Signal Processing branch in which you can get admission into. Please fill the form the college, and attend the councelling session until last round. Many times seats are left vacent, which can be filled up later on with either spot round or waiting list.

2. New NITs and IIITs: Many of the new NITs and IIITs observe vacent seats because of students not taking admission into these. Placement senerio is not the brightest, but still better then most of private engineering colleges. Also the fees will be very low. Fill the COAP very carefully to optimise your chances of getting into any of these. Also, for IIITs, you might have to fill a seperate form visiting their respective websites. Some of institutes are IIIT Guwahati, Lucknow NIT Silchar etc.

3. IIIT Delhi: You can also apply to IIIT Delhi, you might have to appear for interview cum test at IIIT Delhi.
