431 marks are not that promising to fetch you a seat in a government college. Plus, the state you're willing to apply for is also one deciding factor. Since we have known so far that a SC category candidate needs to score least 490+ to atleast sit in hope for a seat. I would suggest you to go for counselling and hope for the best, wait till mop up round.
