I got 5036 as common merit rank but category rank is 1288.So can i get nift clg?

Hello Namrata,
It is very difficult to procure seat in any of the NIFT colleges as your rank is too high. It is not possible to get admission in NIFT colleges.
You have not mentioned the course which you want to opt. If you are choosing B.des, there are least or no chances to get into any NIFT campus.

I want to pursue in AD.Cant i get nift clg on the basis of obc rank 1288?I saw the previous years cutoff for obc from where i saw that i can get it in mumbai or bangalore.will u plz help me with that?

Yes, if you are choosing Accessory Design ,then there are decent chances to get admission in NIFT Bangalore or gandhinagar.
There are 27% seats reserved for OBC category, the chances of getting admission depends upon the availability of seats in different courses at various NIFT centres.
