i got 53 percentile in january 2020 jee mains and i am a sc candidate was it sufficient to get Any Nit college or i have to do more

The exact prediction would be difficult regarding your admission possibilities based on your percentile. With this percentile the chances seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.

You can try for the state level counselling. I would also suggest you to appear for JEE Main April Session 2020 which application form is expected to start from 7th February, 2020.

The JEE main qualifying cutoff of January session is not released as of now.But the cutoff is predicted to be nearly 54.0128 and the previous year's cutoff is also the same.And your cutoff is slightly less than the predicted qualifying cutoff.But this value may increase or decrease and chances are there for you to qualify.But the admission cutoff of any NIT will be more than the qualifying cutoff,so chances are less to get a seat in NIT.But take it light,wait for the release of cutoff and start preparing for your April and have a strong and focused preparation for it.All the best!!
