Depends on what are your interests. Engineering and Medical aren't the only options in career or in life. Arts and streams are getting back on demand. Courses like animation and graphics are quite easy available for this mark. And there are few colleges in Tamil Nadu that gives quality education in these courses.
I would also suggest you to apply for the new Krea University, Chennai that is the developing Liberal Arts University in Tamil Nadu. This would give you a chance to explore more career opportunities in depth.
