I got 64.8% marks in 12th board. That's the reason I am not able to appear JEE main or Advance. Can I reappear 12th exam for more marks...
Hello,
You can appear for jee mains but can't get admission in NIT's and IIIT's. But i would suggest you to reappear for class 12th board. You can do it by registering for 12th with NIOS (National institute for open schooling) board. With this board you can improve your marks.
- Yes you can consider the option of reappearing in the Board exam for more marks. However, do keep in mind that only candidates who originally appeared in their Board exams in 2018, 2019 and 2020, are eligible for JEE MAINS 2020. ( reappearance year is not included in this.)
- This means that if you appeared in class 12 board exams in 2018 and failed it and reappeared for it in 2019, then you are eligible for JEE MAINS 2020. Similarly, if you appeared in class 12 board exams in 2019 and failed it and reappeared in 2020, then you are eligible for JEE MAINS 2020.
- BUT if you appeared in class 12 board exams in 2017 and failed it and reappeared in 2018 or 2019, then you are not eligible for JEE MAINS 2020.
Greetings!
There something called improvement exam , Improvement exams are for students like you who have passed but are not satisfied with their marks and are willing to take the exams again to increase their percentage .CBSE Improvement Exam can be taken in one or more subjects in the succeeding year only after passing the subject in Class XII.
So , you should appear in improvement exam and target to score at least 75 % so that you can take admission in nit or iit through jee.
You need to visit cbse's official site for it . Registration last date :- 31st OCTOBER (Without Late Fees) From 01st NOVEMBER To 15th DECEMBER (With Late Fees)
