I got (70%) in PCM but (78%) in whole. Am i eligible for taking addmission in (IITs or NITs) ?

The minimum percentage of marks that one should obtain in Senior Secondary Examination, for being eligible for IITs and NITs, is 75%. Since you have scored more than that, you are definitely eligible for the IITs and NITs.

Since you have more than 75% overall,hence you can get admitted in nits,and also if you belong to reserved category like sc st and pwd then its 65.So no problem for you
