i got 72.66 percentile under OBC category can I get seat in NIT

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 246089 - 175204. On the basis of such rank and category you can get some of the lower NITs like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Goa, NIT Puducherry and so on as per previous year's cut-offs, provided that you deserves Home state quota for them but if not then I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

As you might know that you are not qualify the jee main exam because your percentile is less than the cut off percentile. So there might be no or very less chances of getting a seat in Nits/IIIts/Gftis.

But you should try for State councelling (if any),you might get good colleges in your state.
