To get admission in to NIT you need to score the minimum qualifying cut off percentile and this qualifying cut off percentile changes every year. You have not mentioned your category here is the previous year qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main category wise

• EWS:70.2435518
• SC:50.1760245
• ST:39.0696101
• PWD:0.0618524

Assuming that you belong to general category you may not qualify in JEE Main. The expected cut off percentile for general category is expected to be in between 90-95. So you have to prepare for JEE Main upcoming session and score minimum 90-95 percentile to qualify. To get admission in to NIT you need to score above the qualifying cut off percentile so you should aim to score minimum 97-99 percentile or above. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
