I got 77% in JEE MAIN and a rank of 256777 i belong to OC can i attend jee main counseling and in which colleges can i get seat

With your JEE MAINS Rank and percentage, you will most likely not clear the cutoff for government colleges like NITs and IIITs, but you can opt for JOSAA counseling and try and apply for other private colleges that consider JEE mains score for admission. You can get the list of colleges easily when you search on google, the list is too large to  fit in here. with your OBC status and rank, you can try for government colleges but can not really say anything without knowing your rank. JEE MAINS is a nationwide exam and is recognised by a lot of colleges, you will definitely get a fine private college with your score. You have to consider your local colleges and then choose between them, I can't really choose from all the colleges available without the details. According to you rank surely you will be eligible to attend the counselling for the government colleges. And it is not impossible but it is difficult to get a government college seat because if you look over the last year cutoff based on the percentage, the cutoff for 2018 for oc category was  74%. But expectedly the cutoff for 2019 for oc category based on the percentage will be near about 89% or less.

So, looking over all this scenario your percentage to get a government seat is less. But you may get the seat if there might be any vacancy in the seats.
