I got 78 percentile in jee mains and I am am st candidate and my category rank is 4853. So can I get admission in NIT suratkal ?

As per your you do have chances for getting admission in one of the NITs.
However your chances are a bit low for seeking admission in NIT suratkhal as your rank doesn't match as per the requirement.
But, definitely you will get a decent NIT Colleges under JEE.
Also, you can try for the other colleges under JEE like GFTIs.
But, ofcurse your chances are very low to make it to NIT suratkhal.
