I got 78.9839208 in jee 2019 Jan , can I get Nit , if not is this percentile is useful for any other purpose

To be honest 78.9 percentile is not that good. It is just the approximation as the cutoff is still not yet released so we cannot predict the actual figure. Till then work hard for the the 2nd part of the exam and do well in that to improve your percentile. And one more thing, Why to Compromise with some other college if you can give jee mains one more time and improve your percentile.
