I got 79.5/100 cutoff in tn hsc board examinations this year(2019). Can i expect any one of the top college which excels in BE Mechanical?

In order to get admission into any university/ institution that offers an undergraduate engineering degree course under the discipline of Mechanical engineering, a candidate has to first pass the class XII examination successfully and also write the engineering entrance examination(regional such as TS-EAMCET or national such as JEE Mains) and then score a certain cutoff marks or rank to be eligible for counseling and then get admission into the university of their choice.
