I got 81% in 10th which science college can I apply ?
Hey Sharyu , So you have successfully cleared one stage of your scholastic life. Congratulations!
Now coming to your question. What stream to choose? Well most complex task.
Basically it's not the choices of Quorans you should go with. You should sit calmly and decide that at what subjects you are good at and in what fields you have interest. There are peoe who choose Science due to parental pressures and end up scoring negatives in JEE. There are people on the other hand who choose Commerce as a stream because they just dont like Science and taking up arts would undermine there capability as per the beliefs of Indian Society (A bad thought).
See if you are good at Science there are two fields basically : Biology and Mathematics.
Biology is for medical lovers. Mathematics for Engineers.
Commerce has many endless fields.
- Professional courses:
- If you are good at numbers you can take CA. (Disclaimer : One of the toughest exam to pass in India whose EFFECTIVE I repeat EFFECTIVE pass percentage is lower than even Civil Services Examination. Here effective means taking into consideration the results of Foundation, Intermediate and Final all together. (e.g. 1000 students enroll in the course and only 2 become CA.)
- CS, CMA, CFA are other professional courses
- Graduation and Post graduation courses:
- You have B.Com, BBA, BCA ,M.Com, MCA and many other degrees
- MBA can be separately treated due to the special value it carries if done from top B-Schools.
Other courees could be Fashion Designing, Hotel Management, Event Management, Interior Designer.
- Arts:
- You can serve the country by becoming an IAS IPS IRS IFS officer. Here I mean Civil Services examination.
Moreover If you have interest in teaching field you can pursue B.Ed. You can also become a Pilot which is under science stream. Atlast, go by your interest not just grades.
