I got 8215 engg rank in wbjee.can i get CSE branch in heritage institute of tech. Or ECE ??

You may not be able to get a seat in computer science but there are very few chances to get a seat in ECE. The closing rank for ece 2018 is 7164. You can apply for ece. You have better chances to get a seat in EE(closing rank 8165). Considering previous year's closing ranks the probablity of you getting a seat in any branch mentioned abouve is low but you can try for it.

At this rank, you won't get CSE in Haldia Institute Of Technology but might get ECE. If you're passionate about CSE then you should try for CSE in some other colleges. You can get CSE in some other private colleges. I would suggest you to use college predictor so as to have a better view of all the options available to you.
