I got 83 percentile in jee 2020 and category is OBC does i get any NIT with mechanical branch

Yes you should go for councelling when it gets started.
You are having fair chances of getting a NIT with Mechanical branch.
Some good NITs you can look for are like MNIT Allahabad and Jaipur..
With your caste reservation things will turn a little more easier for you.
