i got 83 percentile in jee main

You have got good score but for getting admission to nit , you will not be eligible. Also qualifying score for jee main is 89.above percentile. So if you want to get a seat in nit you will have to appear in JEE main session 2 now which will be held in May.2020

(100- percentile)*number of students appeared/100

It will be in range 148000-204000

For this rank if you belong to general category, you may have low chances for qualifying jee advanced. Last year cutoff percentile for jee mains last year was 89+.

For this rank you will not even get any good college with good branch. So, I will suggest you to prepare well and get better score to get best college.

Hello Aspirant, If you got 83 percentile in JEE Main then your rank after JEE Main April will be around 1.8 to 2 lakhs. With this rank you can't get NIT's if you are General or OBC Category Candidates, there may be chances if you are SC or ST candidate.
