In the eligibility criteria for getting admission in IITs, NITs and IIITs only 12th standard percentage are considered. The eligibility has nothing to do with 11th standard marks. So if your 12th percentage is greater than 75% if you're General/OBC or 65% if you're SC/ST then you're definitely eligible for getting admission in the above mentioned institutes. There is no minimum marks criteria for attempting JEE Main.
Santosh, for starters, JEE Mains has no minimum aggregate criteria. For admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs and for JEE Advanced, there is a minimum aggregate criteria of 75%. Now this 75% is not for your 11th. It is only for your 12th. So 8.33 GPA is roughly 78% and by the virtue of scoring more than 75% irrespective of your Category, you are eligible to take admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs along with appearing for JEE Advanced. So do not worry about it.
