I got 84.5 percentile in JEE mains in Feb attempt 2021. Iam in general category. Will I be eligible for appearing for Advanced.

see jee main 4th session exam is yet to conduct and once all the exam is completed, NTA would release a cutoff to appear in jee advance. however last year category wise cutoff is as follows:

Common Rank List (CRL)   90.3765335

(EWS)   70.2435518

Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL)  72.8887969

Scheduled Caste (SC)  50.1760245

Scheduled Tribe (ST)  39.0696101

People with Disability (PwD) 0.0618524

So right now it is difficult to predict about exam cutoff, it depends on some of the determining factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc.

The qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main 2021 is not yet announced it will be announced once the final results are declared. In 2020 the qualifying cut off percentile for general category to qualify in JEE Main was 90.3765335. In this year it is expected to be in between 90-95 percentile. Considering this you may not qualify in JEE Main and appear for JEE Advanced as you have scored 84.5 percentile which is less than 90 percentile. The candidates who qualify in JEE Main by scoring the minimum qualifying cut off percentile can appear for JEE Advanced. If you wish to appear for JEE Advanced then you need to apply and prepare for JEE Main upcoming sessions which were postponed and aim to score minimum 90-95 percentile or more. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
