hi candidate,
For a percentile of 85% in JEE Mains, your CRL rank will be around 1.5 Lakh. With this rank if you are general/obc candidates your chances of getting good government engineering college is very less. You may have to prepare for state level engineering exam to get a good stale level engineering college.
If you have SC/ST quota then you can get admission in NITs, you can get into lower branch of mid tier/lower NITs. Also you can apply for some non NITs colleges who take admission through JEE Mains like PEC chandigarh, DTU, NSUT, IIIT Delhi to take admission there.
