I got 85 percentile in Jee mains. I am from ews category. My world has shattered. This was my drop year. Can i get any decent college with the percentile?

Don't be disheartened because you got 85 percentile . This was problem with me too. And I was in a much more bad position than because I can't afford private college . I had to go for a government college.

Then i took a decision which was one of the toughest of my life to take a 2nd drop for jee mains and after months of preparation again , i managed to get 97.5 percentile which is a fair one.

My previous percentile was like you only. It was around 83.

I would suggest you if you don't have any financial issues or ok with private colleges then you can go for it otherwise if you are determined then go for it.
