hi saurabh,
as per ur pencentile in jee mains u would get NIT'S which are not in a good rank but u can get a good branch in that college as u would get in the private colleges but u have to pay huge fees for it and they will not provide u any type of scholarships if also they provide they will provide u for less percent and they will charge u in the case of taxes most probably apply for the state colleges with branch of ur choice as that u get a seat near in your state most probably u would get NIT's in the places likely Sikkim,Raipur as if your caste is oc/gen based on previous assumptions and results calculated in 2020 work hard and score good marks.
Hi dear,
You have scored 86 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 121661. You can also calculate your rank as
Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100
If you belong from general category you have very low chance to get any government college if you belong from sc or st cast then you may get NITs. You can go for private college.
Hope it helps.
With a percentile of 86 it is not possible to get into NITs. You can try for government colleges, there are chances you may get them. Regarding private colleges the chances of getting into them are high. You should prepare for the April session of JEE Mains and try to improve your percentile.
