I got 87 percentile in the jee main exam I wrote on 9th January 2019. I'm from one of the obc categories. What does this score mean for me?

Considering the total number of students to be 10 lakhs. Your percentile means that you are ahead of 870000 students resulting in a rank of 130000. With this rank you cannot get a decent branch in the top nits however there is still some chance for you in the new nits. So please check earlier cut offs and all the best. I hope this helps you.

Also, have I qualified for the jee advanced? Obviously, I need to work harder, which I will. But as of now, have I qualified?
