I got 88.3 in jee mains can I get Nit in EWS category
Hello Tejasivaravi,
The factors affecting cutoff are total number of candidates appeared in the entrance examination, number of seats available for the respective course, previous year’s JEE Main cutoff trends ,difficulty level of JEE Main 2020 examination and number of questions asked in the exam.
Cut off may also vary with home or state quota and with the each NIT branch. You can calculate your rank with this formula (100 - your total percentile score (Higher of two)) X Students appeared in your shift/100. You may be around 10k rank . With this score it might be a little difficult to get NIT top branches but however you may use the college predictor tool to know your chances.
Hope this helps.
