I got 89 percentile in jee main exam 2019. I am from obc category. I want to take admission in cse branch in nit college. Can i get nit.

Hello student,
With 89 percentile in obc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in CSE branch in any NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. But, you have good chances of procuring a seat in other branches like bio technology, production engineering, chemical engineering,etc. But, it also depends on the state of yours. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection

Hi pr,
With such a low score I regret to inform you that you cannot get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nits or iiits with computer science as branch .
As computer science is one of the most sought after branch in feild of engineering so they have high cutoffs for the candidates to get pursued.
Even considering lower nits like northeast nits their computer science branch closing rank also ends up with a rank of 8k to 9 k at max .
Either you take part in any other councelling process or you can even take computer science branch in any other reputed private institutes.
