HBTU Kanpur is one of the best institutions in the country and admission there is only for the upper-rank students. With your current percentile, you will be scoring a rank around 1.5 lacs. However, for HBTU you need your rank to be under 15k.
I suggest you should either join some good private college or take a drop and prepare again.
