Hello aspirant,
As you said, your overall percentage is 76.2% which is good. Next year NTA may remove the 75% eligibility criteria but you are free from it because of getting above of criteria. So it totally depends on you, if you have not prepared well this year you can drop for one year and target the best NITs and IITs of India. You just need to do study continuously.
One thing you need to remember is that you also need to give exam for this year. It will help you to know the exam procedure, question pattern and it will also help you to get an idea about the accuracy of paper. Rest depends on you.
