I got 96.28% in JEE Mains paper 1 and 99.05% in paper 2. Is going for B.Arch good or B.Tech in other branches good with respect to placement

As per your percentage scored in JEE mains I.e., 96.28%  and 99.05% u can easily get the IITs and NITs. As it's better to choose b.tech than b.arch.

B.arch is a 5 yrs course with zero placements only few IITs and NITs offer campus placements.there is no campus placements for b.arch students in State colleges.

So, having this much of good percentage in b.tech it's better u take b.tech than b.arch.

A very big congratulations to you from us. You have exceled in bothe the exam. Let me tell about your rank in both the paper.

Paper1- around 35000.

Paper2-around 1400.

You have good rank such that you can get NIT for both Btech as well as Barch. But in India scope of architecture is not well developed. Developed countries need that. In india Btech have lot of scope more than Barch.

So according to my view you should go for btech. But you have less chance to get good branch in good NIT.  Better is if you get some more percentile in paper 1 in april jee main than it will be good. Try to keep your rank under 20000 in paper1.
