For getting admissions in IIT or nit you must have 75% in 12 th for general and OBC category ..But there are also other governmernt and Private college which provide admission on basis of jee main .The formula to calculate rank is No of candidates apperared in exam/100 *(100-Nta score ).

ofcourse you can get admission through the jee mains score to various good colleges of the country.
