Sorry, you can't get admission in nit surathkal for CSE branch because one should rank under 2000 in general category for Surathkal CSE branch .
Now, you got 97 percentile in jee mains then I think your rank was around 25k to 30k, with this rank you not be able to get admission in any branch of nit surathkal.
So, don't worry you need to improve your self and next time you will get it easily.
