With 980 marks in intermediate and a 79.2 percentile in JEE, you're likely to be eligible for a variety of engineering branches, particularly those with slightly lower demand and in colleges outside of the very top-ranked institutions. However, getting into your top choice branch in a prestigious NIT or IIIT will be challenging.
You can get Btech CSE, ECE, IT easily in private engineering colleges with good placement records.
