The 98.5 percentile that you have received is truly a good percentile score. But you must know tgat the percentile score is not your actual raw score percentage of the conducted examination. The percentile score is the percentage of people who have scored the same score as you have and those who have scored lesser. But still though, higher your percentile score higher is your chance of getting a good rank. Considering your percentile you might have qualified, but I cant say for sure though because the cut off has not been released and it depends on many factors.

First of all congratulations to you for scoring good percentile. You will be having general rank around 15000. It is really a good rank. You can get seat in almost all NITs. You can even get CSE in many NITs. You are surely qualified for jee advanced.

To get 100pecentile you need to first find out the mistake you did. Then put your effort and don't repeat the same in future. Regularly revise all the portion so that you don't forget the portion meanwhile. Cover whole sllybus before written exam. And keep your mind out of stress.
