To begin answering your question I s hould tell you that sastra has 2 streams in which it accepts students
1. Stream 1:
In this stream 70% od 12th score plus 30% of jee score is considered as the normalised score
2. Stream 2:
This stream is entirely based upon the 12th score.
Now, coming to your question it is clear that the chances in the first stream are slightly less where as there is good chance in the second stream to get you good branches
