Anuradha you fetched a descent rank in the JEE mains entrance exam and with having this much of  range in the JEE mains you have the wider chances of getting into the good Colleges including the Government as well including the NIT as well the CFTI Institution but with having this much range of rank front the General Category you have the less chances of getting into the top NITs but yaah you can make into the NITs from the North eastern State as well you can also go with the option of selecting the IIIT from Gwalior , Allahabad or from Bhubaneswar as well.

Getting admission into NIT is a bit difficult with this rank as usually to closing rank for branches like bio-tech and production engineering is in between 23k-25k. But if you have advance of state quota then you can surely get core branches in your state NIT.
